The City of Hamilton is looking for candidates who are interested in serving their community while earning extra income as a School Crossing Guard, especially on the east and west mountain.
Crossing guards ensure that school aged children cross municipal roadways safely in accordance with City Policy and Procedure, Operational Matters and Health and Safety Matters.
Candidates must be able to walk, stand for 30 minutes at a time, hold a 3lb sign for a minimum of 30 seconds, climb up and down curbs, and have undergone a Hamilton Police Vulnerable Sector Check.
The job pays $16.36/hour and work hours range from 8.25-13.75 hours per week.
